Hey, thanks so much for dropping by and getting to know me a little bit better. I’m Nia! I’m a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Texas.

I was introduced to the world of design in high school. I started with coding MySpace pages and I haven’t looked back since! I went from designing themes to designing fake magazine covers and creating vector art of my favorite celebrities. After graduating high school, I knew there was nothing else I could do but be creative.

I graduated in 2016 with Latin Honors with a BA of Communications in Advertising from The University of Texas at Arlington. On campus, I worked at my school’s newspaper, The Shorthorn, eventually working my way up to the position of Design Editor, responsible for the layout of the school’s weekly print publication. Wild times!

From college, I went straight into agency life, creating out-of-home campaigns at Outfront Media, one of the largest out-of-home companies in North America.

After almost four years of corporate life, my spirit needed to be uncaged. How could I grab the reigns of my creativity and use it in such a way that aligned with my greatest passions and goals? I decided it was time to go freelance. I finally worked up the courage to quit job and become my own boss.

That’s where you come in! You’re most likely here because you want to work with me or you want to read my blog. Either way, thanks again for being here, especially if you made it this far. :P
